There are multiple paths to a higher perspective.

For almost two years, my meditation has focused on the innocents caught up in the wars caused by human decisions. In recent weeks, watching people around the world gather to march for peace, having dear friends deep in the two major conflicts happening in the world today, my meditation has focused on their safety, health, and wellbeing knowing the first to show up are the peace takers, quickly followed by police with their deadly ‘peace makers’, guns,

Many on the streets acknowledge that their inner lives are a mess. Some invested into the post-World War II ‘Dream’ of more, bigger, and better, unaware that it was the on-ramp to the Rat Race. The Dream too many have invested in is an existential lie. Wanting someone, something, or the world to change doesn’t make change happen. Someone who wants you to believe that they can make the change that improves your life is perpetuating that lie.

The only thing any of us have the responsibility and right to change is ourselves. Knowing how to make a healthy decision for yourself opens authenticity. It requires the deep self-understanding and appreciation for all the pieces that make you whole. When your inner chorus knows is harmonising, you’re free to come together with others. This is the moment we recognise we, all sentient beings, are a Family sharing a brief journey across the amazing planet we call home. When self-understanding grows into true self-acceptance and we genuinely love ourselves, the healing process begins. On this day, we will find and harness the freedom to repair our fractured relationships, and Mother Earth is free to continue her healing journey.

Existential questions are universal but your answers are unique and are only found inside you.
